Chelsea make final, “desperate” bid to sign first top target

The Chelsea pursuit of Achraf Hakimi has only been in the news for a month at most, but it’s already swung wildly back and forth.

At first it seemed unlikely we would want to sign a right wing back considering our depth in the position, but the number of leaks coming out about the Inter star made it steadily more believable.

PSG have been our rivals all along though, and while they appeared to fall behind at one point, SportWitness translate quotes from Gazzetta dello Sport (which you can see in the image below) claiming the move to Paris is now all but done.

Chelsea aren’t giving up without a fight, however. A mention is made of a “desperate” final attempt from the Blues to give Inter a wedge of cash, plus Marcos Alonso to sweeten the deal.

Given the Italian side are in need of money, a player might not sway them as much as we’re hoping. Let’s see where we stand come next week.

  1. If chelsea don’t get the players the manager wants we will carry on falling behind the top 6

  2. At this point it’s paramount for the chelsea hierarchy in conjunction with manager explore all options avialable (academy graduates, loanees) and if necessary tranfers to “keep the team hungry” and competitive internally and externally . #more trophies.
