Chelsea have been the better team for large parts of this game at the Etihad, but they almost found themselves stuck two goals and a player down after a man two minutes.
First Andreas Christensen was caught out, made an error that allowed City to score, and then limped off injured.
Moments later the Citizens were in again, and they won a penalty. Sergio Aguero stepped up and – limply panenka’d the ball to Edouard Mendy.
So to summarise, things are bad but could be a lot worse.
