Timo Werner has run offside time after time today, but he’s kept making the runs and kept pulling defenders apart, and now he’s had his reward.
The striker finally made his mark down the right, pulling a good ball back AT LAST for Marcos Alonso, who half spooned the ball past Ederson in the 93rd minute.
That is massive for our top 4 chances, and given how close we were to being 2-0 down at half time. The second half saw us come back strong, and we had 3 goals ruled out as we pushed right until the last minute.
