Chelsea were beaten 1-0 by Leicester in the FA Cup final, and the celebrations have begun in earnest at Wembley.
A video on Instagram live shows Daniel Amartey pick up the traditional Chelsea pennant exchanged by the clubs before the game and throw it over his shoulder to the floor.
Now we’re not here to get all sanctimonious and holier than thou, but this was just a bit unnecessary. Surely they know that that pennant symbolises respect between the two clubs?
Let’s hope this Chelsea team use it as motivation for Tuesday’s rematch – as though they needed any.
