The England squad for Euro 2020 has been announced, and there are three Chelsea players in the mix.
Ben Chilwell, Mason Mount and Reece James are the chosen trio, and there’s a good chance for each of them to start. Gareth Southgate has shown particular affection for Mount, but the two wing backs have finished the season in great form for their club, and a good showing against Manchester City in the Champions League final this weekend could tip the balance in their favour.
Chelsea have Mason Mount, Reece James and Ben Chilwell in the provisional 33-man England squad that will be cut down to 26 on 1 June. Congrats to them. I thought Fikayo Tomori was unlucky to miss out at centre-back. #CFC #ThreeLions

The delayed tournament means that Chilwell had the chance to make the move to a Champions League club and shine, while James has got another season under his belt at a top club.
Meanwhile Mount has gone from strength to strength all year for Chelsea, and looks to have secured a key role for his country this summer. Let’s hope he can continue his strong form with England.
