Thomas Tuchel is taking the prematch press conference ahead of tomorrow’s game against Leicester, and the Chelsea boss has admitted that his squad were “hurt” by their defeat to the Foxes at the weekend in the FA Cup final.
In quotes picked up by Nizaar Kinsella of Goal.com, Tuchel explained that the mood wasn’t great after the sting of a trophy lost at the last stage.
Tuchel on the mood: "it hurt us because once you reach a final, you want to win it. We were so close and passed a huge opponent in the semi-finals, we deserved to be there and felt we deserved to win it." #CFC

Let’s hope the squad are able to turn that pain into motivation when they play the same opposition tomorrow night. While Saturday’s game was a final, this one is almost as big, with the two sides competing for Champions League places.
The Blues can’t play as badly as they did at the weekend, where even a nervous Leicester team were eventually able to get into gear and beat them.
Tuchel is known as a tactical master, so we’re excited to see what tweaks he makes for tomorrow’s match.
