Teams News: Tuchel makes five Chelsea changes as Blues line up for FA Cup final against Leicester

Chelsea face Leicester at Wembley in the FA Cup final in just under an hour, and the teams are in!

Thomas Tuchel has made five changes to the Chelsea side that fell to rivals Arsenal for the second time this season in a flat performance.

Kepa Arrizabalaga keeps his spot in between the sticks and has been rewarded by the gaffer for playing the earlier round of the competition.

There’s two changes to the defensive line with Antonio Rudiger and Marcos Alonso replacing Kurt Zouma and Ben Chilwell respectively.

The Blues are also fielding their strongest central midfield pairing of the campaign as N’Golo Kante comes back in for Billy Gilmour.

Tuchel has tinkered with the attack quite a bit as Hakim Ziyech – a solid performer in the FA Cup run, as well as Timo Werner enter the fray for Christian Pulisic and Kai Havertz.

Here are the full team line-ups for Chelsea vs Leicester (kick off at 17:15 pm GMT)…

CHELSEA: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Silva, Rudiger, James, Alonso, Kante, Jorginho, Mount, Ziyech, Werner

Leicester:

The Blues should be itching to make things right after a lax display against Arsenal and also raring to get their hands on the first bit of silverware since the Europa League in 18/19.

As if the FA Cup wasn’t important enough, this tie holds other implications…

The sides meet in the Premier League on Tuesday night, with both looking to secure a top four berth as Liverpool lie in wait with a crucial game in hand in what’s shaping up to be a fierce race for Champions League qualification.
