Official: Chelsea bring supporters in to help make club decisions

Another day, another big official Chelsea FC announcement.

It’s been rather turmoil at the club since they announced they will be joining the new European Super League, and then de-announcing it two days later. But Chelsea look to be trying to mend the mistakes and plaster over the wounds right away.

Chelsea fans will be over the moon with this one though. For years supporters of the club have been trying to get more involved with making decisions that effect the club on the whole and demanding more of a say in the daily operations.

Well, now it looks like they have finally been heard and they will now be getting a chance to voice their concerns and opinions in general club board meetings, or at least three fans at a time will be.

As reported on the Chelsea website, as from 1 July, there will be supporter presence at the Club’s board meetings.

Three supporter advisors, picked through an election and selection process, will attend board meetings to ensure general supporter sentiment is considered as part of the Club’s decision-making process.
