The Belgian’s transfer has turned into an expensive disaster for Madrid, and they’ve been looking for a way they can make it his fault – now they may well have found it.

We understand he’s supposed to be gutted about his team going out, and we can imagine lots of Chelsea fans unhappy in the same situation – but let’s not pretend he’s the sole reason this Madrid team weren’t up to it.
