Chelsea midfielder has ‘inconsistencies’ claims loan boss

Chelsea have a number of players out on loan battling to show the form and potential to get into Thomas Tuchel’s plans for next season.

Some of them have been doing well to put themselves in the frame, others not so much.

But one player who has shown some signs of real quality but has also struggled at times, is Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

His loan boss Scott Parker believes that his form may have been affected by the struggles that Fulham have been facing on the pitch and their relegation battle.

But Parker also admits that the England international has ‘inconsistencies’ that he needs to iron out, and says the player would even admit that himself.

“Maybe,” Parker replied when asked if Loftus-Cheek has been affected by the teams form, as reported by West London Sport.

“He’s came from a football club where he wouldn’t have experienced certain things in football matches that he would experience here.

“There are elements of Ruben’s game that he needs to get better at.

“Ruben came here and had been out of the game a long time, but I think it’s fair to say he’s had his moments and done well, but he’s had his inconsistencies, and he would be the first to admit that.”

Luckily for Loftus-Cheek, it sounds like Tuchel is keen to give him a chance and see him in training, being a player he has watched and rated for some time now.
