Chelsea’s Champions League trophy is barely back in the UK, but already football writers are looking ahead to next season.
We wrote earlier that Adama Traore was one of the players linked with a move to Chelsea, and it’s a suggestion that has met with mixed reaction on social media.
Some can see the raw potential of the winger and the potential for him to do serious damage with Thomas Tuchel developing his game.
Others see him as a one trick pony, without the finesse of subtlety needed at the very top level.
The suggestion is that Traore would play as a right wing back. We don’t see the need ourselves really – we’ve got Reece James playing a similar role, to an incredibly high level. Traore would be nice backup, but James has the potential to be so much better.
