Chelsea to face Manchester City in 2021 Champions League final

Chelsea have beaten Real Madrid, and will play in the Champions League final later this month.

The Blues were absolutely brilliant on the night, better even than in the first leg. They could – and maybe should – have scored 5 or 6 goals.

In the end they needed just one – and got two thanks to Mason Mount’s late effort.

Timo Werner found the net in the first half, and Christian Pulisic made a huge difference as a substitute. In fact there wasn’t a player who didn’t excel – from Edouard Mendy through the solid back line and midfield, to a dangerous front 3.

It was a complete performance and a huge amount of credit should go to the coach Thomas Tuchel too. He’s got this talented group looking very dangerous, and given how confident we were against Manchester City in our FA Cup win, we can feel very confident about competing in the final too.
