West Ham step up Tammy Abraham chase, opening door to Declan Rice deal

Another game played by Chelsea, another game where Tammy Abraham doesn’t set foot on the pitch.

We’ve waited and waited for the striker to get his chance under Thomas Tuchel, but it seems the Blues boss just doesn’t fancy our top scorer, and inevitably the rumours about him leaving are building in intensity.

Twitter insider “ExWHUEmployee” who always has decent scoops on West Ham says they’re now making him a priority signing for this summer.

The Hammers links have always made sense – they’re based in London, they’ve got the money to pay him, they’re upwards mobile, and they need a striker. The Declan Rice swap angle that some have mentioned only makes the idea more tempting.

If it does happen, it will take some time to sort out. Let’s not write Tammy off just yet! He could well step into Tuchel’s team and bag ten goals before the season is out, all he needs is a chance…

  1. When are you going to join the real world. Rice will not be going anywhererin the foreseeable. How long now have you been playing the same old tune. Laughable. Quit simply if Abrahams goes to West Ham IF it will be cash only no player exchange as part of any deal. In trying to build a club funnily enough you dont get rid of you best players whilst so doing. By The way every club which West ham seem to have an interest in a player guess what Deckan Rice comes up Rubbish. Not even exclusive rubbish. New fantasy tomorrow. ? Reall has gone past sell by date !

  2. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha (pause for breath) hahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahaahah. Even you must realise this is getting very old now and the country’s best DCM does NOT get swapped for a player who doesn’t even make it into your first team. The idea that you can hold WHU to ransom over Tammy to force the sale of Rice is so far from rational thinking that it’s utterly laughable. Your fans deserve better than your idea of journalism. Quit now, back to the paper round!!!

  3. Tuchel chooses the German forwards that fail to deliver over our leading goal scorer why bcos Tammy is black? I am hurt
