Yesterday’s game against Brighton was one of the strangest we’ve seen played at Stamford Bridge.
No fans in the stadium, but plenty outside protesting against their own club. All eyes were on football, but not this game, and it was difficult to digest the actual events on the pitch.
Today we looked back at the Premier League Productions’ post match with Glenn Hoddle and Steve Sidwell to try and get more of a sense of what Chelsea had got wrong in a game they should have won – but even they were finding it hard to make sense of a truly unique match in the history of English football.
