Thomas Tuchel is always a little less guarded when speaking to Chelsea TV after games rather than to the general media.
This was the case after the loss to Porto last night, where he seemed much cheerier speaking to the club channel.
They asked him about Cesar Azpilicueta’s performance, and Tuchel was happy to oblige, complimenting his captain in every way he could.
“No fear, no complaints, no hesitation… a pleasure to have in your team,” the coach explained. Games like the one last night certainly show the Spaniard’s value to this squad.
