(Video): “I don’t know what come over me” – Ben Chilwell walks us through super first Champions League goal

Mason Mount took most of the plaudits in Chelsea’s win over Porto last night after scoring a superb opening goal, but late on Ben Chilwell tried his best to steal his mate’s moment with a lovely effort of his own.

The left back burst forward, took a brilliant touch on his right foot and then rounded the keeper, Fernando Torres style, before slotting in, and he admitted he had surprised even himself with the way he took his goal – “I don’t know what come over me” he laughed.
