Chelsea are through to the FA Cup final after a tense semi against Manchester City, but in the end Thomas Tuchel’s Blues proved too resilient and too determined for Pep’s team.
Fans on social media were loving the gritty win, and as one described it a “total team effort,” which is a very accurate description of how we played. As always under Tuchel so far, it wasn’t always pretty, but it was incredibly convincing and effective, against a team that looked a class above us just a few months ago.
The new Blues boss beaten Joes Mourinho, Diego Simeone, Pep Guardiola, Carlo Ancelotti and Jurgen Klopp – without conceding a goal. You genuinely can’t ask for more than that – now let’s go on and lift a trophy.
You can see a selection of the reaction from social media here:

QUADRUPLE
adjective'consisting of four parts or elements'
Chelsea have just ended Manchester City's bid to win the quadruple.

I love the fact that we're able to win games 1-0. Yes I would prefer more goals, but it reminds me of the old Chelsea who could see games out and never concede.

Jorginho is world fucking class, and when he plays in a system that suits him he becomes unplayable.

Silva, Azpi, Jorginho, Mount, etc
Honestly I’m happy with every Chelsea player who took the pitch tonight. Total team effort.

Manchester City with Pep Guardiola have looked arguably like the best team in the world this season and have done for the last few years.
Chelsea, who have been under Thomas Tuchel for a matter of months, looked every bit better than City.

Just to preface this, the ONLY time I had issues with Jorginho was when he didn't suit our system.
Most players will look dogshit in a system that doesn't compliment their strengths.
