It took them a while, but Chelsea have finally revealed the team news for their clash against Porto in the Champions League in just under an hour.
The Blues line up pretty much as you’d expect them to in the circumstances, but there are some interesting wrinkles too. Jorginho had a true shocker at the weekend, but the injury that keeps N’Golo Kante out of the starting lineup spares the Italy international from a potential removal.

Thiago Silva isn’t so lucky. The Brazilian is fit tonight, and suspended for our next Premier League weekend after his West Brom red.
So if Thomas Tuchel wanted him in the team, this would be the time to use him.
Instead, we’re back to the Christensen-Rudiger-Azpi trio at the back that served us so well with Silva out injured.
What this means, in effect, is that Silva has lost his first XI place for now, and will have to work his way back in. If we concede 5 again tonight, that might not be too difficult a task…
