The incredible N’Golo Kante stat that sums up his superstar showing

N’Golo Kante always saves his best performances for the big occasions, and tonight was no different.

He pulled the strings against Real Madrid both in attack and in defence, and his movement was something Los Blancos really struggled to stop.

His influence in the attacking game was summed up by one particular stat we liked – he completed more dribbles than the whole Real Madrid team.

You can see the stat from ESPN embedded here:

It summed up the dynamic of the game. Chelsea trying to break lines with quick turns and dashes, while Real Madrid focused on spreading the play and trying to pick holes in the Blues.

For large periods however, the home team were just clinging on. They barely had time to pick passes, let alone complete dribbles.

If the France star plays like that again next week, we should have no problem beating them at home and making it to the final.
