“I’m coming home” – What Eden Hazard told Belgian reporter on drawing Chelsea

Eden Hazard will soon be coming home to Chelsea.

No, not to re-sign for the club, and no not tonight either as we are playing the first leg in Spain. However, he will soon be back at Stamford Bridge for the second leg, and according to a good friend of Hazard and reputable Belgian reporter Kristof Terreur, Hazard has said “I’m coming home” when finding out about drawing Chelsea in the semi final of the Champions League.

“That’s what he told me,” said Terreur to Alex Goldberg on The Byline Podcast this week.

Since you’re coming ‘home’ Eden you are not allowed to score, assist, or even play well against your ‘home’ club in any of the games…

All the talk of Hazard ahead of this tie was always inevitable, and we know he will be doing his all to beat us and progress into the Champions League final. It’s still nice to hear him describing Chelsea as his ‘home’ though all the same!
