First Chelsea player comes out to speak on the training ground bust-up

The last couple of days in the aftermath of Chelsea’s heavy defeat to West Brom has not exactly been ideal for the club.

The loss alone was bad enough, but then came reports of a handful of players falling out after the game, and then again in training on Sunday.

Antonio Rudiger, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Reece James, and captain Cesar Azpilicueta were all said to be involved, in an inside report from The Telegraph, amongst others.

Obviously emotions are always going to run high after such a defeat, but even still, this is not what the club or Thomas Tuchel would have liked to have come out after Saturday at all, to say the least.

However, defender Marcos Alonso has been quick to come out and play it all down, saying that this is ‘nothing new and has always happened’ at clubs.

As reported below from Simon Johnson, Alonso has pretty much swept it under the rug already, let’s hope they all have.
