Dortmund director claims Chelsea target will stay with them this summer

I never thought I’d be so excited to be writing up some transfer news.

After the last few days, all I have been mentioning, and in fact, all any supporter of football has been mentioning, is this damned European Super League.

Well, as that finally looks dead in the water, we welcome some transfer rumours coming back to the fold, back to some ‘normality.’

Although, if you are an advocate and fan of Dortmund striker Erling Haaland and want to see him at Stamford Bridge this summer, you may not be so pleased to be reading this news.

Bare in mind, that this time of the year clubs, owners, and players will not always be completely forthcoming when talking about transfers, but Dortmund director Michael Zorc has made their stance pretty clear on Haaland this summer.

It was thought that they would need Champions League football to be able to keep the striker this summer, but Zorc claims that is not the case.
