Chelsea are through against Porto after a pretty gritty and unpleasant game in Seville.
Our opposition was determined to slow the game down and break any momentum up as quickly as possible – despite the fact they were the ones who needed to score.
They fouled and dived and ratted away, making their best attempts to rattle our team. It was a valiant, if dishonourable, way to try and win the tie. And it wasn’t very effective in the end.
One man who wasn’t having it was Reece James. You don’t want to mess with him at the best of times, and tonight he wasn’t having any of it. Social media went mad with reactions to his “tank like” showing down the right, where he had absolutely no time for any messing around throughout the 90 minutes.
