In fact, according to a very reliable report from The Athletic on Monday, The clubs hierarchy are holding discussions over putting an offer in for the 25-year old and claim they are now ‘stepping up their pursuit’ of him.
Thomas Tuchel likes the centre back and already has a close relationship with him, which will be the driving force behind this move.
This might feel rather insignificant with all the drama going on right now, but it does appear Chelsea’s interest in Sule is more than legit.
