Chelsea ‘considering their position within the proposed Super League’

The latest news on the European Super League seems to be dropping by the minute and new information coming out all the time.

There has been a huge backlash from fans, players, managers, and so many more big public figures regarding this, so much so that those organising the new breakaway league are literally fighting against the world right now.

In information that I personally vouch for, there is a lot of unrest and uncertainty from the English clubs top 6 who have agreed to enter, and doubts over whether they will pull out is popping up.

Chelsea’s standing within the proposal remains less than assured, reports Leah Smith of Caught Offside.

They have been made aware that Blues’ chairman Bruce Buck held an emergency meeting with the club’s senior men’s team shortly after the initial reports emerged on Sunday.

Buck, upon speaking directly with his players and staff, was met with intense opposition and unified discontent at suggestions Chelsea will become a founding member of the ESL.
