“We can play adventurous and aggressive football” – Tuchel issues rally cry ahead of Real Madrid

Chelsea are currently gearing up to play the biggest game of their season so far, and easily the most important game Thomas Tuchel has took charge of here so far.

Of course, the Premier League matches have been huge and the three points against West Ham at the weekend were absolutely vital and massive for the success of their season.

But tomorrow night, going to war against Real Madrid in the semi final of the most prestigious competition in domestic football, is one of the biggest games many of these players have ever and may ever face again.

Chelsea are in a decent run of form under Tuchel and look hard to beat, but Real Madrid are also enjoying some good form and we all know what a giant of the game they are.

It will be a VERY tough match and Chelsea will need to get themselves fully up for this one. These words from Tuchel on the Chelsea website says it all…

“When you play against Real Madrid, it cannot be harder because they are the most experienced team in this competition. They’re on a good run at the moment, 16 games unbeaten or something like that, so they will play these games with full confidence and full awareness.

“I hope we can play adventurous and aggressive football. We will fight them hard and then let’s see who gets the win out of these two games. It’s a big challenge but after we will be smarter and better because this will be a huge experience together.

“When you are a little boy, you dream about games against Real Madrid and now it’s here so we are very happy to arrive in a situation on this level.”
