Chelsea beat Everton quite comfortably in the end tonight, and that was in large part thanks to the efforts of Kai Havertz, getting his first start under Thomas Tuchel.
Havertz gave his first really good performance for a long time, and when speaking after the game, Tuchel praised his striker, saying he was “very happy with his performance”, but also insisted “he needs to adapt”, both to the manager’s style of football and to the Premier League.
If he keeps playing like tonight, we can consider him adapted.
