One of the most memorable moments of Chelsea’s season so far was the sight of Thiago Silva in his civvies, standing on the concourse steps and shouting down at his teammates urging them on in the final stages against Atletico Madrid.
Thomas Tuchel was asked about it in his press conference today, and as always he was full of praise for the man he coached at PSG and his positive influence from the side-lines. The Chelsea boss couldn’t resist a cheeky dig at Silva too however, pointing out how his ageing captain was “dressed like a 28 year old.”
