Report: Fikayo Tomori will certainly remain at AC Milan, could sign 5-year contract

It almost looks inevitable now that Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori will be joining AC Milan on a permanent deal this summer.

Chelsea inserted an agreed option to buy of around 28 million euros into the loan contract of Tomori to Milan, and despite older reports of Milan potentially not wanting to pay the fee, fresh reports now suggest they are happy to.

In fact, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport (as cited by Milan Reports), Fikayo Tomori will certainly remain at Milan, who have decided to pay the 28 million imposed by Chelsea for the right of redemption.

Tomori could sign a five-year contract, according to the report.

The England international has made a real impression in Serie A, and I feel that Chelsea are going to seriously live to regret this one, just as they have done with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Mo Salah for example.
