No lack of game time complaints from Ben Chilwell, who concedes his form has dropped

There have been a handful of players whose game time has reduced significantly since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea.

There have also been some players benefiting from the change in management.

Could Tammy Abraham leave Chelsea this summer? With clubs circling, find out the latest here.

The two main ones who have lost game time that sticks out is Kurt Zouma at the back, and Ben Chilwell on the left.

Antonio Rudiger and even Andreas Christensen are now being preferred to Zouma, and Marcos Alonso is being largely selected ahead of Chilwell, mainly because of the switch to three at the back and usage of wing backs.

Chilwell though, is staying patients and will not make any complaints to Tuchel, according to a recent article from The Athletic.

They say that he hasn’t considered complaining to Tuchel about the situation or causing a fuss. He concedes his form had dropped at the back end of Lampard’s reign, so being left out didn’t come as a surprise, and he also recognises what Alonso brings to the wing back role.
