“Near perfect” Tomori performance wins him MOTM in AC Milan thriller

Fikayo Tomori didn’t get a fair shake of the stick this season at Chelsea, and it was painful to watch him rotting on the bench or in the stands for such long periods.

Finally in January he got his move away, and at AC Milan he’s taken his game to the next level instantly. He’s been hailed for his performances so far, and yesterday was no different as he excelled in their thrilling 3-2 win over Fiorentina.

Tomori won 100% of his duels, as he continues to look a cut above some of the creaky older forwards in Serie A.

The club’s official website recorded him as man of the match with over 60% of votes from fans, and described his performance as “near perfect,” and the slightly mystifying “substantial”.

Whatever that means, it sounds like a good thing, especially for a defender. We’re delighted for Fik, and we’re sure this isn’t the last MOTM he’s going to win this season.

The question remains though – what do we do with him this summer?
