Clubs named as potential suitors to sign Tammy Abraham with doubts over his future

Chelsea striker and top goal scorer Tammy Abraham was left out of the squad entirely for yesterday’s draw with Manchester United, sparking doubts over his future at the club.

With that, and reports of Chelsea’s interest in signing Erling Haaland from Dortmund this summer, clubs are beginning to circle with interest in signing Abraham, as per The Daily Telegraph.

What is the latest on Chelsea’s pursuit to sign Erling Haaland this summer? Find out here.

Chelsea are facing interest from Premier League and European rivals, with the club yet to open negotiations with him over a new contract.

The report mentions the following clubs who might be interested if Abraham becomes available –  Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Leicester City, Brighton, Southampton, Aston Villa, Juventus, PSG, and Dortmund.

Although, they also make it clear that the England international actually wants to stay at Chelsea and become the club’s recognised striker for the rest of his career.

This is where there might be an issue, because he will always have to settle with a squad role and plenty of competition in the attacking areas, especially if Chelsea get their wish and sign Haaland, or another top striker this summer.
