We’ve absolutely loved the start Thomas Tuchel has made at Chelsea, but there has been one great victim – Tammy Abraham.
The striker has barely been seen since the new coach arrived, and it’s the same story again today. With Kai Havertz operating up front with Timo Werner, it means no space for Abraham even on the bench.
That’s a serious concern, and it’s happening more and more. If things work out for Werner and Havertz in attack, it could mean the end of the road for Abraham.
With his contract running down there will be plenty of clubs interested, and as it stands it looks like Chelsea will be content to sell, if they can get a good price.
It would be a brutal ending for a player who has worked so hard to make it at Chelsea, and has done so well in his two years as a starter. There won’t be many Blues fans who are happy to see him go.
