AC Milan want discount on agreed deal to sign Chelsea defender

AC Milan want to use their option to buy Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea this summer, but they do not want to pay the agreed fee, according to Sky sports.

Technical Director Paolo Maldini wants to hold talks with Chelsea regarding bringing the agreed £26 million option to buy down.

We also just sat down with Tony Mount, the Father of Mason, who provided us with some great insights and opinions here.

The former Italian international is very happy with the performances of Tomori, but he isn’t keen on paying the entire agreed fee.

Well, I guess he has never heard of Marina Granovskaia, right?

I can’t see Chelsea dropping any money off this fee, which to be honest is actually not a lot for a player of Tomori’s calibre and age.

He is playing well, as Maldini says, so that only strengthens Chelsea’s stance. But I guess it also begs the question that if you are unhappy with the option to buy fee, then why did you agree it in the first place?
