Timo Werner is on a horrible goal drought, and he’s had some stinking misses thrown into that series, and at times in that run has looked desperately low on confidence.
Despite that though, he was smiling after the game last night, having contributed his second and third assists of the week. He may not be scoring, but the penalties he’s winning are proving the difference in these tight games, and he’s directly responsible for all 6 points we got this week.
No wonder he’s still grinning.
