Thomas Tuchel has arrived at Chelsea and had an instant impact winning three out of four matches.
One player who has been pinnacle to this and putting in some great performances is midfielder Mateo Kovacic, and Tuchel has been singing in his praises on the Chelsea website (video snippet below from the Chelsea Twitter account).

The Croatian has been putting in some real shifts and showing his quality. But it is his mentality that Tuchel loves and describes as ‘the mentality of a real champion’ and praised his energy on the pitch.
He said:
“Kova you can call him in the middle of the night and he will be ready to dribble, to run, to steal balls. “He has the mentality of a real champion, it’s incredible.”
