Chelsea face Barnsley in the FA Cup tomorrow, and in Thomas Tuchel’s pre-match press conference he confessed that he was going to make “a lot of changes” for the fifth round tie.
That doesn’t mean we should expect a host of youngsters, but almost a full XI of squad players should be given a shot. Hakim Ziyech, Kurt Zouma and Emerson Palmieri for example can expect to play from the start, and hopefully Billy Gilmour too.
That should be enough to keep fans – and the squad – happy for now.
