Chelsea have a huge set of very talented young players out on loan, so perhaps it shouldn’t be a surprise that there always seems to be one who stands out in the Championship and earns themselves a Premier League move.
Conor Gallagher did it last year, and this time around it looks like Marc Guehi is taking up the mantle. He’s been the outstanding Chelsea player in the division to this point, and his performance against Man City in the FA Cup was another reminder of his growing stature.
