Ben Chilwell has just been badly caught out by Sheffield United, and he’s lucky we’re not a goal down because of him.
Chilwell went to sleep at the far post as the Blades drifted a cross in, lost his man and then fouled him in the box to give away a penalty as he tried to recover.
In the end though, VAR intervened to rule the spot kick out – not because it wasn’t a foul, but because Chris Basham had drifted offside as he backed away from the left back to make his header.
