Thomas Tuchel will be pretty familiar with this Manchester United team after taking them on in the Champions League group stage this season, and in the knockouts in 2019 as PSG manager.
There will be one player who is even more familiar than the rest – Edinson Cavani, who was in the PSG team that Tuchel managed. In the press conference today, the Chelsea boss was asked about Cavani and his own experienced number 9 Olivier Giroud.
They’re both experienced number 9s, but Tuchel went straight for the physical rather than the tactical “0% bodyfat” was his first thought when asked to compare them.
