The new Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has just taken his press conference ahead of the first derby of his reign as Chelsea manager, with his team set to travel to Tottenham tomorrow.
Sadly, it wasn’t all good news. On the injury front, there were “two little issues,” as Nizaar Kinsella from Goal.com reported.
Tuchel on injuries: "We have two little issues today on the training pitch. We had Kurt Zouma and Kai Havertz going off the pitch with little issues. They are checking and having scans now. It is questionable whether they will be in the squad. Everyone else is available." #CFC

Kai Havertz and Kurt Zouma apparently both left training with problems. Zouma has yet to start a game for Tuchel, so is less of a concern, wheras Havertz might have been under consideration to start tomorrow.
Having watched the last two games however, we reckon Havertz would also have started on a bench for a game this intense, so it’s not a total disaster. Let’s hope he’s at least available to come on as a sub and make an impact if need be.
The good news is that Tuchel said there were no other issues, so N’Golo Kante will be back after a few weeks off.
