Thomas Tuchel is still in the early stages of his reign, but a combination of rotation and injury has meant he’s had a decent look at most players in the squad.
It’s a tricky time of year even under normal circumstances, and the compressed season this time around makes things even more difficult.
Tuchel was on hand in his press conference today to give major updates on injuries all round, as Nizaar Kinsella recorded in the Tweet you can see here.
Tuchel on injuries: We are very happy that Tammy feels very very good and he is free for training and he is in the squad. Thiago is out for the game, not ready. We have some issues with the calf of Pulisic, nothing big but it feels tight. Havertz can join us in Southampton" #CFC

So, to summarise – Tammy back in training. We’d be surprised if he starts against Southampton tomorrow, but he should be ready after that.
Thiago Silva still not back – but we imagine touch and go, and certainly fit for Atletico on Tuesday or Man U the Sunday after that.
Havertz will be on the bench tomorrow it sounds like, with Pulisic probably out.
Any more for any more? We won’t quite be at full strength for Southampton, but in the big one against Atleti, we should have almost everyone ready.
Haaa
by this time you cannot bench Hakim Ziyech anymore!
