He has yet to really hit dizzy heights during his early Chelsea career, and even under Thomas Tuchel he is yet to start firing having been hindered by injuries and set backs.
However, you get a sense that under Tuchel, perhaps playing in one of those inverted winger or second striker positions, Ziyech could really thrive.
And he is ready, more than ready in fact.
In an interview this week with Dutch television channel Ziggo Sport (cited by Football London) Ziyech admitted “You’ve not seen the real Ziyech yet.
Followed up in his confident manner with “But don’t worry, he’s on his way!”
This will be music to the ears of all Chelsea fans as the 27-year old looks to force his way into Tuchel’s starting line up.
