Well, we have all been asking the question since a few days back when it was reported that Chelsea had an agreement with the agent of Jerome Boateng for him to arrive at Stamford Bridge this summer.
Is it true? Well, the transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has cleared things up on his latest episode of Here We Go Podcast. And no, there is no agreement according to Romano as things stand.

However, he has also confirmed that the Bayern Munich centre back IS on Chelsea’s shortlist of potential new centre backs for the summer.
There is no agreement between Chelsea and Jerome Boateng for the summer at the moment. But he IS on the list of targets Chelsea are looking at.

The 32-year old German international becomes a free agent this summer and so far there is no signs of him signing a new deal with Bayern, so Chelsea could pounce.
However, the reports of a deal being reached already appears to be a little off the mark at the moment. But as Romano says, it might be worth keeping an eye on the Boateng story, as Chelsea are involved!
