Fikayo Tomori could be included in Kessie swap deal

Chelsea are considering a swap deal for Franck Kessie, according to the latest reports in Italy as reported by CaughtOffside.

SportWitness have translated the original reports from Italy, which claim that Fikayo Tomori would also be part of the arrangement. The defender has made a bright start to life on loan at AC Milan on loan from Chelsea, and the Italian side want to make that transfer permanent.

In return, the Blues are sniffing around their dynamic midfielder Kessie. There were links between the former Atalanta man and Antonio Conte when he was in charge at Stamford Bridge, but the arrival of Maurizio Sarri and Kessie’s move to Milan shut those whispers down for a few years.

Now Thomas Tuchel is in charge and apparently looking for more legs in midfield. It’s rare that a swap deal works in modern football – but maybe this will be one of those occasions?
