Chelsea summer signing already “agitating” to leave after being “left out of Tuchel’s plans”

Hakim Ziyech has only been at Chelsea for 6 months, but the rumours have already begun about him being keen to leave.

The sources are incredibly flimsy, and we wouldn’t necessarily believe anything we read in the Corriere dello Sport, but it’s enough to make you think at least.

Almost all our our summer signings have struggled, and in fact Ziyech had a brighter start to his Chelsea career than most. But the FA Cup game at the weekend saw him struggle again, even against Championship opposition, and there are real question marks now about where he will fit into Thomas Tuchel’s team.

CDS say he “feels left out of Tuchel’s plans,” which is a pretty ridiculous conclusion given the new manager has only just arrived.

The chances of Ziyech leaving this summer still seem miniscule, but it certainly is looking like this season isn’t going to be the instant impact we’d hoped for.
