Thomas Tuchel has arrived at Chelsea and appears to have given them a boost in their pursuit of a very sought-after soon to be free agent this summer.

The German boss is a big admirer of David Alaba, and Chelsea are looking to try and hijack his deal to join Real Madrid, that is not yet done.
This is according to the reliable Jacob Steinburg from The Guardian, who also admits that Madrid do remain the favourites still.
Alaba certainly fits the type of centre backs that Chelsea are looking at, and his versatility to be able to play at the back, left back, or as a defensive midfielder will stand in good stead with any teams looking to bring him in.
Staying at Bayern now looks all but out of the equation, and right now it only appears to be between Chelsea and Real Madrid.
