Chelsea must put the disappointing 1-1 against Southampton behind them and start thinking about their big gam on Tuesday night in the Champions League.
The Blues take on Atletico Madrid, who are having problems of their own. With just twenty minutes left, Diego Simeone’s side are trailing 1-0 to Levante in La Liga.
Even better, as cruel as it may sound, Jose Gimenez has just gone off injured for the Spanish league leaders, surely ruling him out for Tuesday’s game.

On the other side of the coin, it was the returning Thomas Lemar who replaced Gimenez, and Joao Feliz also made a return from coronavirus related absence to get some minutes in his legs.
It will be a tough game whoever Atleti put on the pitch, but perhaps this swings things back a little in our favour. We’ve got injury concerns of our own though, and without Thiago Silva we’re not sure how good our chances would be.
