In what proved to be quite a dull weekend of Premier League action, the subbing on and then off of Callum Hudson-Odoi by Thomas Tuchel ended up being one of the major talking points.
The German manager made the first truly controversial call of his time at Stamford Bridge when he hauled young CHO off after just half an hour on the pitch. Pundits weren’t sure what to make of it, with most reserving judgment until we saw what happened tonight.
As promised by coach Tuchel, Callum gets his start tonight, and he will have a major chance to show how much he learned from being embarrassed like he was on Saturday.
He’s only just starting to learn to play as a right wing back, and now he’s thrown into the mix in the Champions League against a very strong Atletico side. Good luck kid!

So Tuchel subbed in Hudson Odoi last game and subbed him off in 30/40 mins. Yet still starts him over Ziyech

Jorginho is starting 😭😭😭
At least CHO is back in RWB.
Christensen + Zouma would have been a better option. https://t.co/NEXOmY4TH2— muh-ah-bee (@The_MoBee) February 23, 2021
