On Monday morning Frank Lampard was the Chelsea manager. Now it’s Wednesday evening and we’re playing Wolves… and Thomas Tuchel is in the dugout.
Asked before the game about a whirlwind 48 hours the new boss admitted he had barely had time to change things in training, but was able to explain the philosophy he hoped to put into place at Stamford Bridge.
He said his team will “attack” and “play brave football”, starting tonight with an interesting line-up and formation against Wolves. A new era starts here.
You can see the new coach speaking in the clip embedded here:
"You can not imagine the last 48 hours!"
"We will see if I got any messages across!" 😂
It hasn't quite sunk in for Thomas Tuchel that he's managing Chelsea despite taking just one training session.
